Hello, world!

Coffee.  Coffee talk.  In my earliest memories, my mother and her friends shared secrets, recipes and gossip at our formica-laminated table in the apartment in Fair Lawn, New Jersey.  I barely remember my friends' names: Bobby, Joey, Stuart and Lori.

Coffee. Coffee talk.  It is universally uniting.  In the early 60's, you put on the percolator; in the 70's, you set up your 'Mr. Coffee' (strange aside....why MISTER COFFEE...why not MRS.?).  Now, we grab our Latte or Frappucino from Starbucks and converse on the run.  Shockingly, some people don't drink coffee AT ALL.

I wish there was more Coffee Talk in the world.  Times when we thought a bit about current events and discussed the impact on our humble lives over a hot beverage.  I guess this is the introduction to this blog.  Coffee talk.  Grab a beverage, read a bit, think a lot, and speak.
